Spring Valley Ohio

A charming village in southern Greene County, Ohio surrounded by rich cultural and natural history.

Historic Spring Valley

Spring Valley sits on a slope rising from the banks of the Little Miami River. The Little Miami Scenic Bike Path, the Buckeye Trail, the Ohio Scenic Byway, and the Little Miami River all intersect the village. In 1954 State Route 42 was re-routed to bypass Main Street’s steep hill, allowing Spring Valley to retain the quiet character of a nineteenth century village. The annual Potato Festival is held in early October.
